Brand Strategy and Identity

Formerly iDeposit, TUNL is a technology gateway the connects merchant payment systems to payment processors. Having recently undergone an acquisition, the acquiring company asked to execute a seemingly simple brand redesign.

The Challenge

In a complicated, highly commoditized industry, what started out as a prototypical branding project took a turn when we asked, “do we even like the name?” That necessitated we create a more thorough strategy for the company.

Our Approach

NineDezine executed a naming and strategic brand identity program, walking the client through our proprietary approach to re-branding. After thorough research on the industry and competition, and identifying the brand pillars and positioning, we landed on a new name: Tunl.

The Result

Not only did we deliver a visual identity, NineDezine executed a fully baked brand identify, from name and brand position to tagline and key words for communication. We then executed that brand identity across channels, from digital to hard copy.
